Who We Are

Who We Are

Our Mission...

Changing lives: Turning uncommitted people into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Our Vision...

To become: A biblically functioning community of believers so that the purposes of Christ can be accomplished in the greater Wichita area and the world.

Our Purpose...

  • Exalt God (worship)
  • Evangelize the lost (outreach)
  • Encourage God's family (fellowship)
  • Educate for maturity (discipleship)
  • Equip for ministry (service to others)

What We Believe...

We believe the Bible to be God’s inerrant, inspired Word – we revere its truth and respect its reproofs.

We believe that there is one true, holy God, eternally existing in three persons:

  • Creator - God... is our heavenly Father, infinitely perfect, and intimately acquainted with all our ways.
  • Jesus Christ... our Lord, God who came in human flesh – the object of our worship and the subject of our praise.
  • Holy Spirit... the third member of the God-head, at work convicting, convincing, and comforting.

We believe that because of sin, man is without hope of heaven, apart from the new birth, made possible by the Savior’s death and bodily resurrection – those accepting Jesus Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized.

We believe the church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to Evangelize the lost, Exalt God, Encourage God’s family, Educate for maturity, and Equip for ministry.

We believe that Jesus Christ will one day return, which could occur at any moment – and He will reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords.

We believe that all who have died will be brought back from beyond – believers to everlasting fellowship with God and unbelievers to everlasting separation from God.

As members of the body of Christ, Christ followers affirm and uphold the fundamental truths of the Scripture (as summarized in our Statement of Faith) and refrain from promoting other doctrines in ways that cause dissension.
